When your child starts in the nursery, we suggest the following:

First day: One hour with mothers familiarising themselves with the Nursery.

Second day: One hour with mother sitting separately in the Nursery.

Third day: Depending on the child, we suggest she/he could be left in the Nursery for a short time while the mother is still on the premises.

After these three days the key worker will discuss how to complete the settling in procedure.
